Northern Iceland

The videos show the area around the Hituholar Pleistocene volcano where thyaloclastites deposits extensively crop out. Looking at the skyline, it is possible to spot older volcanoes. Nearby, it is possible to observe the presence of normal faults and fractures affecting post-Latest Glacial Maximum lava units.
